For the Love of Justice 2013

For the Love of Justice

On February 9, 2013, join LDIR for a night of celebration through community, collaboration, and creative expression.

“Love is what justice looks like in public” – Cornel West

When: Saturday February 9, 2013

Location: Asian Pacific American Legal Center
1145 Wilshire Blvd  Los Angeles Ca 90017

Time: 6pm-9pm

The theme of this year’s event is “STRUT YOUR STUFF.” “Strut Your Stuff” is about expressing your social justice work in a creative way. That can look like poetry, dance, song, live body sculpting, fashion, voguing etc. There are no limitations; there is only space for you to be who you are!

We highly encourage you to be a part of the event in this creative capacity. We also hope you use this creative component of the event to build community by fundraising either with a team or as an individual. You do not have to create a team and be a team captain, but doing so brings fundraising back to community-building and that is the goal.

For more information on how to get involved in fundraising for the event, or to help with event planning contact Raven Jones at rjones@ldir.org

Donations can be made via check or paypal.
LDIR appreciates your support! Thank you for being a valued member of our community!
